"New Stuff" -

welp... I've created a BUNCH of new stuff.. but I've been slacking on the updates here at my edgen.com site. So, instead of typing everything out again, you can just click HERE to see the new stuff and listen. I'll update this page when I release new albums or really awesomeness stuff that's so awesome I can't retain my stupidness.



One thing that comes to mind that's just so awesomeness is a new trailer I just finished and to announce I'm scoring a new Star Trek mini series called, "Of Gods and Men" starring some of the original cast members to Star Trek and the TV shows. It is scheduled to be released over the internet only sometime in April.

Other stuff was that my music was recently in the SONY Pictures film, 'Stomp The Yard' TV Trailer. I personally have not seen the spot yet. Guess I need to watch more TV eh?

Another cool thing was that the film, "Where Silence Falls" placed 2nd in the online short film competition, DVXuser.com DramaFest. It was directed by Norm Sanders. I have also released a bunch of music from the other 3 films I scored for the competition.

YEssssss!! I'm finally getting a chance to record one of my cues with my friends at X-Ray Dog music. The piece I chose to do is naturally from my Kings and Kingdoms Project called, "Vengeance". After a few Modifications to the track, It will be shipped off to the orchestrator and Off to Seattle we go! I'll release a small clip online once it's been professionally mixed down and ready to go! This will be my first cue to ever grace a full Orchestra!

GOod golly I've got a lot of new stuff that I just haven't posted here. Most of my new tunes can be found at my 'listen or reel' section of my site so if you are ever curious to see what I'm working on, head on over. Some pieces are finished, and others are simply quick sketches and works in progress that will most likely get scrapped to the wayside.

I'm working on my new album along with combining about 2-3 other albums with various soundtracks. One of which is my friends over at Twenty One Productions. I'm going to release a compilation album of all our films. Good times. Good times indeed.

"New Year" - update

Welp.. its been a while since my last update and oh what a year. Happy late new years everyone! Ya.

Well, I finished writing the screen play to Kings and Kingdoms - Episode I. I don't have a solid name as of yet, but I'll probably think of that the last minute. I do say that's its badass. You can read more here along with a few other updates.

2006 is the year people! Lets start shaking and moving!

I Also re-designed my www.justindurban.com website. There's a handy little "Listen" area that has A LOT of music not listed here. Its my 'official business card' now, so if you want to refer people, send them there. This place is a friggin' mess need of some serious house cleaning :)

"A Tale From Woodland Hills" - Short Film

My Friends and I recently just wrapped up a short film written and directed by Jared Smith starring Brooke Mashay and Cameron Bender. I had to jump into a friggin' freezing pool to get an underwater shot as Brooke got pushed in. Brrrr Rabbbit!

Anyway, I'm scoring the soundtrack. Imagine that? :)

The Shoot was two days, about 16 hours worth of shooting.
